Battery Service
The battery is vital to starting your car every time. If it doesn’t fully charge, you may have difficulty starting your car. Why does a battery stop working?
This could be for several reasons:
- The battery wears out over time and gets old, which will require replacement.
- If the car hasn’t been driven for a long time, it’s possible a battery goes flat, and you may simply need to recharge it. However, in some cases, the battery may not recharge at all and will need to be replaced.
- If you leave your interior lights or headlines on when the engine is turned off, the battery charge may die. You may need to jump start the car to recharge the battery.
If the battery is not charging it could also be because the alternator is not working properly. This is something we can check, replace and fix if needed. In some instances, it may also be because of damaged or dirty battery connections that limit the charging ability of the battery. We look into everything before identifying the source of the problem.
